The room Quaility Control Specialist is in charge of the supervision of hotel guestroom cleanliness according to brand standards by providing the highest level of guest service. This position requires the anticipation of guests' needs, demonstrating sensitivity and responsiveness, and ensuring absolute satisfaction.  The following are a list of responsibilities.  Other responsibilities may be assigned by the Executive or Asst. Executive Housekeeping managers.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Inspect hotel and condos to required brand standards to insure quality in checkouts and daily service as well as common areas of the hotel.
  • Supervision and training of housekeepers/attendants.  Assist in motivation of employees.
  • Report any maintenance issues to management and document in HotSOS.
  • Assist with cleaning of rooms or laundry as needed.
  • Report lost items to Housekeeping Office and record/follow up in Lost and Found log as directed.
  • Report theft or damage to the management and Resort Security
  • Ensure proper furnishings, literature and amenities are in units.
  • Assist management with initial set up and closing of the day.
  • Maintain carts, linen rooms, and Housekeeping equipment and supplies in a neat and orderly fashion.

  • Previous housekeeping experience in hotels or condos - Preferred
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. - Required
  • Able to stand for long periods of time on concrete in excess of 2 hours without sitting.- Required
  • Experience on Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer) - Preferred
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal - Preferred
  • High school diploma – Preferred
