Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN with at least 1 year of recent telemetry experience for a Med/Surg/Tele unit night shift role.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Care for a diverse adult patient population requiring telemetry monitoring
- 13-week travel contract assignment
- No local travelers permitted within a 50-mile radius
- Responsibilities include providing telemetry and medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients
- Documentation and reporting must align with hospital standards and requirements
- No first-time travelers indicated
- Applicants with Canadian Social Insurance Numbers are not eligible
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry experience required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Current certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
- Driver’s license required for consideration
- US Social Security Number required for consideration
- Travelers must not have been employed as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems facility within the past 2 years
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week in length
