Overview

Apply for the 2026 Better Rehab Graduate Program across Sydney and kick off your career in the rewarding community-oriented NDIS. Join a crew that celebrates wins together and has each other’s backs. Roles are available across NSW: Maroubra, Blacktown, Wollongong, Penrith, and Sutherland.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct meaningful assessments and design impactful therapy plans in diverse environments, from clients’ homes to day centres, parks and our clinic rooms.
  • Collaborate with a committed MDT to develop innovative solutions for your clients.
  • Build enduring relationships with clients and witness the lasting impact of your work.

About the Role

As a Speechie in our team you will help participants from age 6 to 65, across language, mealtimes, dysphagia, aphasia and AAC.

Program Support

We back you every step of the way. Our program starts with a full week of graduate-specific induction sessions, including an introduction to community practice, the NDIS and life at Better Rehab.

  • Support: Colleagues who support you, including a buddy from last year’s graduate cohort.
  • Supervision: 1:1 supervision to help you navigate all areas of working with Better Rehab and your caseload.
  • Ongoing Training: 6 months of dedicated induction, training and upskilling.
  • Study Leave: 4 full days paid study leave per calendar year.
  • Resources: Laptop, phone and readily available therapy and assessment resources.

About You

We’re after Speechies with a genuine interest in supporting participants with disability who seek improvement and speak up about it. You should have a passion for participant care and treat goals as personal missions.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology with a graduation date in 2025 or January 2026.
  • A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
  • An NDIS check, a Working with Children Check, and a Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
