We are a renowned veterinary clinic looking for a dedicated and compassionate Co-Lead Veterinarian to join our thriving team.
About Us
Our hospital is a well-established, purpose-built clinic in Sydney’s Lower North Shore, offering a high standard of medical, surgical, and specialty nuclear scintigraphy services.
We have a large, loyal, and active client base, making it an incredibly rewarding role for a Veterinarian who thrives on being busy and staying engaged.
Our Team
We are a large, collaborative team of 40 members, including 10 Veterinarians with diverse interests in dermatology, trigger point therapy, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.
We pride ourselves on a diverse, supportive workplace with a strong focus on patient care and continuous learning.

Our Facility
- 6 consult rooms, 2 dedicated surgical suites, In-house pathology (Idexx)
- Nuclear medicine suite with gamma camera
- Diagnostic imaging tools - new ultrasound machine, X-ray facilities, Dental X-ray facilities
- Tech tools - Ezyvet, Smartflow, Cubex, RocketPacs
Responsibilities
- Provide primary clinical care for both medical and surgical cases
- Oversee training and mentorship of the primary care veterinarian team
- Serve as the line manager for our GP veterinarians, offering guidance and support
- Assist in performance reviews and career development plans for the GP veterinarians
- Contribute to the training of support staff when needed
- Ensure standards of care within the hospital align with best practices
- Be an integral part of the hospital’s leadership team, drive the vision of the hospital, and help align clinical priorities with business needs

Requirements
- 5+ years’ clinical experience in a small animal practice
- BVSc, DVM or equivalent, and registration to practice in NSW, Australia
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to prioritise in a busy hospital environment
- Willingness to learn new techniques (e.g., nuclear medicine)
- Comfortable supervising and teaching junior vets
- Prior formal or informal experience in people leadership, change management, and development of systems and processes
- Willingness to develop leadership skills, such as people leadership, business acumen, and coaching of team members
