Your Day-to-Day Impact
Client Advisory & Strategy
- Provide comprehensive employment law advice to corporate and commercial clients
- Lead workplace strategy development and implementation
- Navigate complex industrial relations matters with confidence
Legal Expertise
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, policies, and enterprise agreements
- Manage enterprise bargaining processes and union negotiations
- Conduct workplace investigations and disciplinary processes
- Represent clients before Fair Work Commission, courts, and in mediation proceedings
Business Development & Growth
- Drive business development with autonomy over relationship management
- Build strategic partnerships with existing practice groups
- Develop fee structures and pricing strategies
- Create marketing and thought leadership opportunities
What We\'re Looking For
- Admitted legal practitioner (or eligible for admission in WA)
- Minimum 6 years\' employment law experience with proven ability to work independently
- Strong command of Fair Work Act, WA Industrial Relations Act, and related legislation
- Experience with workplace investigations, tribunals, and dispute resolution
- Exceptional communication skills and natural relationship-building abilities
- Commercial acumen and business development mindset
- Ambition to lead and build something significant
Highly Regarded
- Enterprise bargaining and industrial relations expertise
- WHS and discrimination law knowledge
- Mid-tier or boutique firm background with autonomous practice experience
- Sector experience in energy & resources, construction, or technology
- Payroll compliance and remediation experience
- Big Four consulting background or similar commercial exposure
