Overview
Join our dynamic Data & AI practice as a Databricks Data Engineering Manager, where you’ll lead client-facing data transformation initiatives across industries. You will guide high-performing teams to design and implement scalable data solutions leveraging Databricks and cloud-native tools. This role blends technical leadership with strategic oversight, shaping the future of data platforms for some of our most high-impact clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor cross-functional data engineering teams to deliver end-to-end Databricks solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and SMEs to architect scalable, secure, and efficient data platforms.
- Own project delivery, stakeholder communication, and issue resolution across cloud data engagements.
- Enforce best practices around data governance, observability, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Drive innovation by evaluating emerging data technologies and promoting continuous learning.
Key Skills
- Deep expertise in Databricks (DLT, Unity Catalog, Workflows, SQL Warehouse).
- Strong Python, PySpark, and SQL experience for ETL and data transformation pipelines.
- Hands-on with CI/CD (Databricks Asset Bundle or equivalent), DataOps, and DevOps workflows.
- Experience with data security (RBAC, row/column-level security policies).
- Proven leadership in managing distributed teams and complex stakeholder environments.
