About the Role

Are you a natural wordsmith with a sharp eye for content? We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Coordinator – Entertainment who can bring our brands to life online through clever copy and scroll-stopping content.

Working across Event Cinemas and IMAX Sydney, you’ll be responsible for creating and executing social media content that connects with our audiences and reflects our entertainment-first approach. You’ll own the organic social calendar, manage community engagement, and report on performance — all while collaborating closely with our film marketing, promotions, and programming teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating content across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok — from concept to posting

• Writing engaging, brand-aligned copy and captions

• Managing the organic social calendar and scheduling posts

• Capturing and editing visual content

• Monitoring channels and supporting customer engagement

• Reporting on performance and identifying content trends

• Collaborating with internal teams and film distributors

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years’ experience in social media or content roles

• Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills

• Strong knowledge of social platforms and trends

• Confidence in reporting and using insights to guide strategy

• Highly organised, collaborative and proactive
