We’re Now Welcoming Expressions of Interest
We’re inviting expressions of interest for A320/1 Direct Entry First Officer positions as we plan for future growth. Potential opportunities may be available across all Jetstar narrow-body ports. To be considered, applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Hold an Australian ATPL (A) or an Australian CPL (A) with passes in all Australian ATPL Theory subjects
- Australian Multi-Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with 2D and 3D endorsements
- Current CASA Class 1 medical
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 6
- Minimum 500 hours flight time in fixed wing aircraft; and at least one of the following minimum requirements:
- 200 hours in command of a multi engine aircraft (excluding PICUS);
- 200 hours in command of a turbine powered fixed wing aircraft;
- 200 hours on aircraft certified for operation by a crew of two pilots (multi-crew aircraft)
- A current passport with unrestricted access to all Jetstar ports of call with at least 12 months validity
- Experience in a multi-crew operation or successful completion of a multi-crew cooperation course (MCC)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- The ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test
- The ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Hold relevant Australian permanent residency status or an unrestricted right to work in Australia
