Role Overview
As an Area Manager, you’ll guide the performance, culture, and customer experience across your region. You’ll mentor Store Managers, coach through challenges, celebrate progress, and keep everyone focused on delivering meaningful moments in every interaction.
You’ll balance strategy and pace with real presence in-store; managing performance while supporting your teams through whatever the day throws their way. And you’ll bring dusk’s values to life in everything you do, from how you plan your week to how you lead a tough conversation.
This is a high-impact leadership role with the scope to influence, inspire, and grow alongside a brand that’s just getting started.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and coach Store Managers to create warm, values-led store cultures that put people first
- Own your area’s performance - supporting teams to meet KPIs and elevate the customer experience
- Guide team development through regular feedback, on-the-ground coaching, and clear direction
- Stay across key operational requirements including stock, rostering, visual merchandising, and compliance
- Build strong, trusting relationships with your teams - offering support, challenges, and clarity when it matters most
- Confidently manage competing priorities and keep things moving without losing sight of what matters
- Lead recruitment, succession, and development across your region with a long-term mindset
About You
- You’re an experienced multi-site leader in retail (or a similar fast-paced environment)
- You’re confident managing performance, but people are always your starting point
- You lead with empathy, communicate clearly, and create space for feedback and growth
- You thrive in the pace and unpredictability of retail and know how to stay calm under pressure
- You’re a culture-builder who leads with integrity and brings your team with you
- You hold a current driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle
