As Community and Stakeholder Manager, you will manage development activities for Aula Energy’s portfolio of development projects. Based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, you will lead community and stakeholder engagement for projects and play a key role in ensuring the successful development and delivery of renewable energy projects. You will be expected to work independently and collaboratively to deliver results as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage development activities for Aula Energy’s portfolio of development projects.
  • Lead community and stakeholder engagement for projects to support successful development and delivery of renewable energy projects.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to deliver results as part of a team.

What you offer

  • Direct experience with a project developer, utility, energy or infrastructure business performing community and stakeholder role
  • Experience building relationships with communities, key stakeholders and first nations communities, in collaboration with development and construction teams
  • Ability to drive, develop and implement engagement strategies and engagement and social action plans for key stakeholders and communities
  • Expertise leading stakeholder engagement, including meetings programs, responding to relevant consultations, stakeholder mapping and community events
  • Experience coaching and supporting development and delivery teams in engaging communities and stakeholders
  • Five to seven years’ hands-on experience in the development of onshore utility scale renewable energy projects in Australia
  • Demonstrated track record in influencing effective community engagement program design and delivery with development partners
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluating community and stakeholder engagement across a portfolio of projects to support effective engagement execution
  • Experience in developing project communications collateral and information in collaboration with key internal stakeholders, e.g., corporate affairs and communications team
  • An understanding of sustainability reporting requirements such as GRESB and SFDR Article 9
  • Ability to drive and implement relevant ESG strategies at the project level
  • Proven ability to lead the implement and champion the use of systems and processes to produce stakeholder insights for each project and across the business
  • Excellent communication skills to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including local communities, landholders and Traditional Owners
  • A degree (or equivalent) in an environmental, engineering, planning or science or business-based subject with excellent project management skills
