Title: Front Office Manager

Position Overview:
To coordinate and oversee the running of the hotel in the absence of the Hotel Manager or Rooms Division Manager, with particular emphasis on assisting the management of operations within Front Office, monitoring hotel security, and maximizing the profitability of operations.

Key Accountabilities:

The Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring a solid understanding of Our Target and driving it with the Front Office team
  • Ensuring all staff present themselves on time and in uniform
  • Effective organizational communication with other departments
  • Effective planning for projects and events
  • Ensuring all departments are adequately staffed
  • Being aware of VIP and Group arrivals and departures and preparing accordingly
  • Maintaining a high level of service with staff understanding and implementing the hotel's service values
  • Seeking new opportunities and optimizing opportunities for improvement
  • Managing the hotel complaint system
  • Performing the role of Manager on Duty
  • Ensuring Front Office departmental rosters are cost-effective
  • Ensuring clear and comprehensive handovers with Duty Managers and Night Managers
  • Managing daily operations of the Front Office Department
  • Performing other reasonable duties as required
  • Demonstrating and developing knowledge of the local market to enhance company performance
