Who You'll Work With
You’ll be working with McKinsey Implementation (MI) in one of our offices in Australia or New Zealand. Our implementation experts help organizations across sectors and functions accelerate and sustain their change management efforts.
MI provides continuous support to ensure clients achieve and sustain the benefits of McKinsey’s recommended changes. Our consultants are involved from strategy through execution, focusing on impact and sustainability throughout the project lifecycle. We are building a strong team and seek exceptional individuals to join us.
As an MI team member, you’ll collaborate with client project teams to solve tough problems, providing end-to-end support to deliver and sustain McKinsey’s recommendations. Your Impact
You will work in small teams with colleagues and clients to develop strategies, capabilities, systems, and processes that deliver measurable results and ensure their sustainability.
Your work involves coaching clients to implement new approaches and achieve lasting outcomes. You’ll manage projects with minimal supervision, track metrics, perform complex analyses, and prepare communications for clients and leadership. You will also develop practical recommendations and identify implementation challenges.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree
- 8+ years of experience in industries such as oil & gas, engineering, mining, energy, financial services, banking, insurance, or the public sector
- Strong problem-solving skills (quantitative, conceptual, analytical)
- Proven experience leading transformational or capability-building initiatives
- Comfort with ambiguous, dynamic situations
- Ability to work collaboratively and foster an inclusive environment
- Passion for coaching or mentoring clients
- Effective communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel
