HR Administration - Employee Services Officer

Join to apply for the HR Administration - Employee Services Officer role at NSW Health. This role provides foundational knowledge of Human Resources and supports the administration of all employee-related transactions from recruitment to separation in accordance with NSW Health legislation, policies and procedures. The role broadly teaches the principles of maintaining the HRIS system, including establishment of positions within the organisation's hierarchy, recruiting, onboarding and supporting staff queries throughout employment. Flexible work practices are supported.

Remuneration: $1,458.95 - $1,492.04 per week

Location: Macquarie Hospital, hybrid working model (Based at Macquarie Hospital)

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality, customer-focused workforce service with emphasis on recruitment and selection, onboarding, maintenance of HRIS system, establishment functions, and all transactions relating to an employee lifecycle from onboarding to separation.
  • Provide advice and ensure compliance with relevant human resources legislation, policy and awards; act as the central point of contact for HR enquiries.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding and experience of human resources/personnel principles, interpretation of industrial awards and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Excellent organisation and administrative skills, ability to prioritise workload, autonomy and initiative to ensure quality outcomes within KPIs.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to manage a large volume of enquiries and build/maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
