Austage Events Melbourne is a proudly independent audio-visual company with over 20 years of experience creating events that are just a little bit different. We’re big on team, fun, and family, and we’re looking for someone who shares those values to join us as our new Crewing Coordinator .

In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for coordinating our amazing AV crew — full-time and casual — across the three key parts of our business:

Port Melbourne Office & Warehouse
Zinc In-House

What you’ll be doing:

Scheduling full-time and casual staff across audio, video, and lighting for all events.
Coordinating all aspects of crew requirements, fromprepping/de-prepping,bump ins/setups,show operates, through tobump outs/packdowns.
Sourcing and inducting new casual staff and helping grow our extended crew family.
Keeping staff updated on company policies and procedures.
Occasionally rolling up your sleeves to support the team in the warehouse or on-site (we’re all hands-on here!).

What we’re looking for:

This is a challenging role so we need a motivated, adaptable, and highly organised individual who thrives in the fast-paced, ever-changing live events environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
A solid understanding of, or experience in, professional audio-visual environments.
Previous experience in a crewing or operations role (with existing crew contacts a big plus!).
Good computer skills — experience with CrewCard or Personnel Manager is a bonus.
A current driver’s licence, forklift licence, and/or White Card (WHS qualification) are all advantages.
