The Role

InForm is seeking an Accounts Manager (Finance) who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial activities related to the company's operations. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Manager will take on project accounting, cost tracking, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and cash flow management. Your responsibilities

  • Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and bank reconciliations.
  • Managing construction project accounting, including job costing, progress claims, retention tracking and contract billing.
  • Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports, including WIP schedules, cash flow projections, annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitoring and analysing project performance, providing insights and support to the Financial Controller and wider team.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining relationships with advisors and banking partners.
  • Reviewing subcontractor invoices and payments, developing internal controls, and mentoring reception staff.
  • Supervise and mentor reception staff.

About you

You’ll bring strong accounting or finance knowledge and a desire to grow your career in the design and construction industry. With 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, you are:

  • Tertiary qualified in accounting or finance (CPA not required).
  • Confident in Excel;
  • Experience with Xero is desired but not required.
  • A clear and approachable communicator, able to work with colleagues and clients confidently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
