About the Role

We are looking for a Marketing & Business Development Manager to join our Sydney studio. This isn’t just a marketing role - it’s a chance to set the pace in a fast-moving, dynamic environment where no two days look the same. You’ll lead national marketing, bids, and client engagement programs that directly shape FK’s future.

As a senior member of our Brand & Growth team, you’ll be part strategist, part doer, and part coach - bringing ingenuity, energy, and a run-your-own-race mindset to drive momentum across the practice.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the coordination and delivery of strategic submissions, bids, and award entries across studios.
  • Create and deliver marketing campaigns that cut through the noise - multi-channel, brand-led, and results-driven.
  • Plan and execute high-impact client engagement programs and events, nationally and internationally.
  • Oversee CRM implementation, ensure data integrity, and generate reporting that drives smart decisions.
  • Partner with Principals and Directors to advance regional business development initiatives.
  • Champion new ways of working, streamlining systems and processes across marketing and BD.
  • Mentor submissions, graphics, and junior marketing staff to bring out their best.
  • Collaborate with external PR and digital partners to expand FK’s reputation and reach.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in marketing, business development, or client engagement in architecture, design, or related professional services.
  • Proven success in leading submissions, campaigns, events, and CRM systems.
  • Sharp communication skills - able to tell a compelling story and engage stakeholders with confidence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • A self-starter attitude - resourceful, inventive, and comfortable working at pace in a dynamic team.
  • A collaborative mindset with a genuine passion for design, people, and client success.
