Overview

Front End/ Full Stack Engineering Manager (Singapore based, relocation provided) at Agoda. This role is a hands-on Development Manager who leads one or more engineering teams, guiding staff to the next level of excellence while delivering high-quality, scalable web and mobile products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership and responsibility of mission critical systems.
• Guide one or more Agile teams to success.
• Involve yourself with full stack, server, and mobile app engineering; guide server, client, and infrastructure teams to optimal solutions.
• Directly manage between 5 and 10 technology professionals and be responsible for their performance.

What you’ll Need to Succeed

• At least 3 years of experience managing engineering teams of 3+ people; 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with front-end technologies (React, Redux, JavaScript, SASS, performance optimization).
• Knowledge of back-end development with experience in Kotlin and/or Python preferred.
• Experience with scale, microservices, and clean architecture.
• Excellent people management and communication skills.
• B.S. in Computer Science or a quantitative field; M.S. preferred.

Nice to Have

• Machine Learning, GPT, prompt engineering, and AI project experience.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) or related AI/ML technologies.
