NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Network Manager to join our team in Silver Spring, Maryland (US-MD), United States (US).


Responsible for managing Global Team and client Network Infrastructure spread across 10 Hospitals and large number of remote sites. Support 10 hospitals and 225 Ambulatory Sites covering state of Maryland and Washington, DC.  A few locations in Virginia. As the Network Manager, you are the key interface with the customer on supporting the entire network, including telephony systems, vendor management (Verizon, Comcast and CISCO), to confirm redundancy is in place a functional across the enterprise

  • Ensure all servers are patched have antivirus updated on daily or monthly basis
  • Ensure all servers have backups (TSM and CommVault)
  • Perform annual server refresh
  • Drive to increase VM
  • Manage the global team 24 x 7 (US based, Mexico and India)
  • Align with customer on governance, strategy and innovation.
  • Ensure all storage devices are updated with current patch levels (EMC)
  • Very familiar with ESX Hosting

  • Understanding of the incident and request management process inclusive of its components, activities and operation including its organizational structure, as well as any interfaces with other processes
  • Understanding of the end-to-end process flow for problem management inclusive of problem analysis techniques, error detection, components, activities and operation including its organizational structure, as well as any interfaces with other processes


Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience direct Cisco network support and Management
  • 4+ years as a manager of a network team of five or more individuals


Desired Skills

  • Understand the operation of data networks.
  • Experience with a small switched/routed network
  • Experience implementing an IP addressing scheme and IP services to meet network requirements for a small branch office
  • Explain and select the appropriate administrative tasks required for a WLAN
  • Identify security threats to a network and describe general methods to mitigate those threats
