    This position may be located at the Frontier Club or the Bowling Center on White Sands Missile Range, NM.

    New hires will start at Step 1 ($10.47 per hour). Pay setting rules for current or former employees will be applied when applicable

    Responsibilities
    • Food preparation of menu items to include: washing, cutting, cooking, serving and storing a variety of short-order menu items.
    • Cooking, grilling and frying a variety of hot foods.
    • Receiving and storing food inventory items and assisting kitchen supervisor with inventory management.
    • Cleaning of food service production area as well as customer eating areas.
    • Cleaning Pots, pans and dishes.
    • Operate a Cash Register.

    • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required
    • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
    • A one year probationary period may be required
    • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
    • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty
    • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
    • Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
    • Certificate of Medical Examination required.
    • Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-15.j.(1).
    • Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
    • A schedule that includes ealry mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    1. Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English and possess basic math skills.

    1. Previous experience with a cash register and handling cash.
    2. Previous food preparation experience.
