Candidates interested in Assistant Principal(AP) and Dean Positions must successfully complete and pass the leadership selection process before interviewing for specific positions on specific campuses. Once you successfully complete all steps, you will be placed in a pool of available AP and Dean candidates. The minimum qualifications for AP and Dean positions are:

• A master's degree from an accredited college/university
• Valid Texas Principal/Mid-management certification
• A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated, exemplary teaching experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience on the campus

Candidates who do not meet the above minimum qualifications will not be considered.

Only candidates who successfully pass the online application phase will move on to subsequent phases. Additional selection criteria include: an online assessment, a skills demonstration, an in-person interview, a verification of references, a personnel file review (for internal candidates) and a criminal background check (for external applicants).
