Executive Office Services Assistant

At XPO Logistics, we’re constantly looking for talented individuals at all levels, who can deliver the caliber of service our company requires. Under the direction of the Chief of Staff, the Executive Office Services Assistant is responsible for supporting the employee and guest experience in the corporate office. This position will focus on a variety of duties to maintain the overall office environment including supply management, mail room, kitchen and snack inventories as well as other general office duties as assigned. This is a part-time position for an early riser that is excited to support a team to have their best day every single day.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Check conference rooms and communal areas throughout the day to ensure that all work areas are clean and have adequate supplies
  • Oversee basic functions of office printers, faxes, and copy machines by ordering and replacing paper and toner
  • Maintain office kitchen, including replenishing all kitchen supplies
  • Assist with catering orders from outside vendors for office lunches and internal meetings
  • Coordinate mail/package delivery
  • Sort mail and unpack boxed packages
  • Provide back-up support when the receptionist is away
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required, including welcoming guests and managing proper security and/or visitor protocols

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Associate degree in Business Administration or General Studies
  • Experience in a fast-paced professional environment
  • Ability to work 25+ hours per week including a commitment to start Monday thru Friday at 8 a.m.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extraordinary organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. or greater

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
  • 2 or more years of office support experience in a corporate environment
  • Flexible schedule to work additional hours to provide coverage for other office assistants and receptionists as needed
