NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Release Management Lead to join our team in Austin, TX.  Candidates local to Austin, TX are strongly preferred. 



The Release Management Lead will provide technical expertise in DevOps Engineering in an agile delivery system.

The individual will be responsible for the following:

  • Create new and improve existing workflows within agile software development lifecycle, which includes software engineering tools enhancements and their integration and build process enabling continuous delivery


  • To design, install tools and execute continuous integration & delivery pipeline
  • Setting up development & testing environments leveraging Containerization or Serverless deployment strategy 
  • Automate the CI/CD pipeline and regular administrative work with other support teams and ensures they are functioning correctly
  • Perform advanced level troubleshooting issues, and perform hands-on Systems/Applications administration as required
  • Ensure high availability of DevOps tools with pro-active monitoring



Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years work experience with build configuration & release management-SCM & DevOps



Preferred Skills:

  • Ideal candidate to have 8 plus years experience with strong knowledge of key DevOps concepts
  • Experience with deploying, automating, maintaining and managing on-prem/Azure cloud based end-to-end delivery system including monitoring capacity.
  • Platforms Tools: e.g.: TFS/VSTS,Chef, Puppet,Jenkins, Git, Jira, Ansible, Docker, ELK, Nexus, SonarQube, Ansible.
  • Experience on Docker, Git and experience with orchestration tools, ex. Apache Mesos/Kubernetes
  • Cloud platforms: Azure (preferred ), AWS .
  • Automation skills around Cloud Formation Templates (CFN) or ARM templates.
  • Working within an Agile environment, including the use of Scrum and Kanban
  • Production Environment, Supporting complex, highly available applications.
  • Hands on scripting experience in any of these python, ruby, Perl
  • Understanding of Cloud concepts IaaS, PaaS, SaaS Practical hands-on experience on Azure using key services like VM, Azure API, VSTS or Cloud Services
  • Experience in infrastructure architecture designing high availability, performant and secure solutions using Public/Private cloud
