Operations Manager - Route to Market

We are looking for Operations Managers to join our state of the art new launch location in Carlisle, PA!  Here at syncreon, you will have the authority to change, develop and expand our organization.  

About the Role

How you will contribute 
•    Manage all daily activities & hourly employees in a state of the art, high volume warehouse/distribution environment.
•    Ensure achievement of performance metrics, service level goals, & internal checklists.
•    Attain & surpass base productivity, quality, & direct labor cost goals, identifying & driving improvements.
•    Ensure adherence to operational, HR & other business processes.
•    Provide ongoing coaching & mentoring to staff.
•    Lead supervisors ensuring implementation & maintenance of company standards and policies.  Act as a role model.
•    Maintain policies related to progressive discipline, absentee & vacation management, business continuity, & succession planning.
•    Responsibility for cost control, budget maintenance, & daily operational profit & loss results including root cause analysis & resolution of variances to anticipated costs & profitability targets.
•    Actively participate & as designated, lead operational continuous improvement projects based on LEAN / Six Sigma methodologies. 
•    Plan & coordinate new product introductions & other special events with other managers.
•    Manage hourly & daily productivity for work teams, providing coaching, support & disciplinary action as needed.
•    Conduct regular 1:1’s with staff, reviewing performance & development goals against achievement
•    Build & sustain a safe working environment & culture.
•    Other duties as assigned

Your Key Qualifications 
•    3+ years of warehouse/distribution operations management or 5+ years of related supervision experience required. High volume, E-Commerce experience preferred.
•    Ability to work under pressure can prioritize workload accordingly. Attitude and Integrity. Performs work with drive, energy, and focus.
•    Extensive experience in High Volume environment (40K unit + daily)
•    Extensive experience managing direct to customer orders and retail shipments, including management of retail routing guide requirements
•    Forward logistics, finished goods distribution experience required
•    Extensive experience within an automated, pick, pack, & ship environment
•    Proven ability to maintain a high energy and passion for excellence setting the standard for team to model
•    Extensive experience with NPI and Q4 peak periods; ability to build model that supports 5X volume & staffing models
•    Excellent communication and relationship building skills.  English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) required.
•    Experience implementing & maintaining business processes & ability to translate improvements into actions.
•    PC literate – able to use Microsoft Office applications – essential for reporting
•    Proven proficiency with math skills & maintaining budgets.
•    Quality systems knowledge, LEAN / Six Sigma experience preferred; Green Belt certification a plus.
•    Experience in product testing/repair plus
•    Degree level education or qualified by experience plus high school diploma
