    Responsibilities
    • In a Snack Bar prepares a limited variety of short order fast food items such as hamburgers, hot dogs, fish and chicken sandwiches, pizzas, French fries, etc.
    • Cleans other work areas to include walls, floors, equipment, and storage areas.
    • Accepts food orders from patrons.
    • Coordinates food and beverage needs for special events, not limited to preparing and serving food and cleaning work areas.
    • May work on a mobile eating cart driving around to deliver food and drink to patrons.
    • Serves as cashier in the snack bar, receiving payment by cash or charge and completes cash report at the end of assigned shift.
    • Provides supply order list to supervisor for needed fast food items, condiments, and other necessary supplies.


    Travel Required
    Occasional travel - You will be expected to travel to and from various Snack Bar locations on the Arsenal on a daily basis.

    • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required
    • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
    • A one year probationary period may be required
    • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
    • Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty
    • An employer referred pre-employment physical examination is required
    • Must meet state/local age requirements (18 years of age) for the serving of alcoholic beverages no later than 30 days after your application submission date
    • Must be physically able to stand, stoop, bend, pull, push and reach for long periods of time
    • Must be physically able to regularly lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 45 pounds
    • Must be willing to complete food sanitation and safety training within the first thirty (30) days of employment and on an annual basis thereafter

    Qualifications
    Qualified candidates will possess all of the following:
    • Ability to work without more than normal supervision, AND
    • Ability to keep your work area clean, neat and in order, AND
    • Experience that shows you have applied basic food preparation and handling techniques, AND
    • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions, AND
    • Must be familiar with basic sanitization principles, AND
    • Ability to use and maintain kitchen tools and equipment.
