Overview
RPS Subiaco, Western Australia, Australia. Join to apply for the Assistant Project Manager role at RPS. This position is based in Subiaco, with regular short-distance travel for client meetings and site-based activities.
RPS is undertaking large scale infrastructure and commercial construction projects with University and State Government clients. The Perth Project Management team consists of over 50 staff and is continuing to grow, with a focus on major complex projects and long‑term delivery.
Responsibilities
The role supports the Perth team in managing projects and contributing to the successful delivery of major infrastructure and commercial construction initiatives. Office-based with regular travel for meetings and site activities.
Qualifications
- You will hold a tertiary qualification in project management, architecture, engineering, construction management or similar.
- Demonstrated recent construction project experience with client-side, contractor or designer experience is desirable.
- A desire to work on major complex projects, be a team player and operate within a large team.
- A strong understanding and proven experience in managing construction contracts, contract administration and design management (RPS is part of the Tetra Tech Group).
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Good stakeholder management, communications and leadership skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Project and Outlook.
- Australian citizenship and holding or being able to obtain and retain a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance if required.
