HR Generalist

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Three (3) years of experience as an HR Generalist (or similar position)
  • Three (3) years of employee relations experience, including coaching, counseling, conducting workplace investigations  and terminations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with individuals, groups, or work teams, as well as, an ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Ability to work under pressure, balancing multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills
  • Ability to identify issues, compare data, investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all HR matters
  • Customer-focused attitude, with high level of initiative, professionalism and discretion
  • Must be approachable, flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create professional reports, documents, presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Ability to present to an audience
  • Ability to travel to other Dart locations and/or to attend HR related conferences as necessary up to 5% of the time
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Requires a favorable motor vehicle report upon hire


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or related field
  • Experience as a Recruiter
