Requisition Summary

Drive engagement, affinity and retail sales for the most respected brands in the commercial vehicle industry and create a best in class retail customer experience through effective merchandising strategies.  You will be directly responsible for working with dealers and internal and external stakeholders to optimize the retail environment through the management and execution of retail customer marketing programs and visual merchandising programs.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Coordinating promotional set-ups by facilitating fixture installations and the creation of plan-o-grams.
  • Developing and managing retail product displays.  
  • Creating promotional items, merchandising aids and tools within brand guidelines.
  • Developing and monitoring on-line merchandising catalogs and inventory management. 
  • Use customer-focused strategies, to educate and train dealers on how to effectively merchandise and maintain their retail display areas through presentations, trainings, videos and on-site visits.
  • Support coordination of product displays and utilize merchandising techniques at marketing activities such as industry trade shows and dealer-focused meeting and training events.
  • Conduct regular dealer reviews and competitive reviews of merchandising techniques used in the industry.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and present merchandising options that will increase sales and profits.
  • Other duties as assigned.    

Skills / Competencies

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or equivalent program required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in managing and implementing marketing communications programs.
• Experience in merchandising, store layout and design, or extensive retail display experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:  Word, Powerpoint and Excel a must.
• Retail planning software experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Job requires 25% travel.
