As a  Bilingual Part-Time Technical Support Specialist, you will provide phone and email support to internal and external clients contacting the Nielsen Solutions Center.  You will support Nielsen proprietary applications by troubleshooting software, hardware, application and communications issues and provide basic training across multiple Nielsen services. 



The ideal candidate will have:

Technical degree/diploma or equivalent experience

 2+ years experience in a Customer Support role

Help Desk industry professional certification

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to manage stressful situations

Bilingual (English/French or English/German or English/Italian) oral and written communication skills

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

Demonstrated initiative and motivation to provide quality service

Advanced proficiency in troubleshooting current desktop technologies and communications software, including WIN 95, WIN 98, WIN NT, Windows XP, Microsoft Office Suite

Advanced knowledge in supporting Nielsen Proprietary applications

•Ability to multi-task and capable of independent decision making with a bold, nimble and collaborative approach to problem solving• Accountable, results driven and open to new ideas and ongoing learning••NOTE – Hours of work are approximately 30 hours/week and could involve evening and or early morning shifts
