JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Make recommendations regarding upgrades with considerations to the implications of new or revised Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software, equipment, or applications
• Produce training materials and provide formal military training on topics including, but not limited to, system and software capabilities, and advanced geospatial analysis workflows
• Diagnose and differentiate between hardware and software issues
• Assist with the development of operational geospatial analysis strategy
• Multiple deployments as a Geospatial Analyst in support of combat operations

Qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience or High school diploma and 6 years of GIS and Geospatial Analysis experience in lieu of degree.
- Completion of Basic and Intermediate Geographic Intelligence Specialist Courses, Army equivalent courses, or Industry equivalent courses
- NGA GEOINT Professional Certification, USGIF Certification, or Esri Technical Certification
- Ability to provide advanced GIS and software- specific technical support
- Expert-level experience with full Esri ArcGIS Desktop and/or ArcGIS Pro suite to include ArcGIS for Server and Spatial Analyst, 3D Analyst, Data Reviewer, Production Mapping, and GeoEvent Server extensions
- Expert-level experience with Trimble Business Center and/or TopCon Tools
- Experience with Esri enterprise geodatabases and Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Familiarity with Ground- Warfighter Geospatial Data Model (GGDM) geodatabase schema
- Ability to troubleshoot software and database problems, and effectively communicate issues to higher levels of support
- Ability to produce training materials and provide formal military training on topics including, but not limited to, system and software capabilities and advanced geospatial analysis workflows
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations on short notice
- Windows system administration experience
- Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) experience (Oracle preferred but not required)
- Expertise in attributing and digitizing features from georeferenced and ortho-rectified sources; applying projection, datum, and coordinate transformations; geo-referencing and ortho- rectifying source materials
- Multiple deployments as a Geospatial Analyst in support of combat operations
