This position exists within Nielsen’s Media Analytics practice, which seeks to leverage Nielsen’s world class media research assets to provide best in class custom analytics to media companies, digital & technology companies, agencies and advertisers.  Primary focuses are around cross platform measurement, effectiveness and optimization.  All across the world our associates help clients better understand audiences and how to develop and market programming and advertising solutions to please them.
The Project Manager will work under the direction of and report to a Media Analytics Sr. Project Manager, Team Lead across a variety of functional areas to deliver complex custom analytical solutions.


Key Outcomes & Accountabilities:

  • Facilitate design of the analyses
  • Estimate custom project costs and LOEs
  • Develop the project plan & SOW
  • Manage projects from initial concept through delivery to the client
  • Work independently to develop the project teams,  timeline and ultimately be responsible for ensuring on-time delivery
  • Work closely with the Media Analytics Consultants to ensure projects are on task and meeting client expectations
  • Manage the project stakeholders, team, hours, budget, risk, schedule and any conflicts that arise



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cross functional project management
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume environment with limited supervision
  • Proven track record of leading a diverse group of professionals to deliver on-time against client requirements
  • Must be individually process driven and results-oriented
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, influencing and relationship skills
  • Knowledge of Nielsen MA products, services and data sources preferred
  • Must be an independent thinker and confident with decision making
