We are thrilled to partner with a hospitality firm in their search for an HR Generalist/Manager to join on a permanent full-time basis. This is a truly end-to-end generalist role, offering exposure to all facets of HR. In this stand-alone role you will be reporting to the Country General Manager in Australia and working closely with the HR Director based in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement annual HR strategies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders to drive HR initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
- Compliance and Employee Relations: Support managers in ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, handling employee grievances, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Recruitment and Workforce Planning: Lead workforce planning efforts, manage recruitment processes, and collaborate with external recruitment partners to attract top talent.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Oversee the induction and onboarding of new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company, and manage offboarding processes with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Performance Management: Monitor and support developmental requirements, including probationary reviews and addressing performance management issues.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies and programs to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and productivity.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Management Plans and Policies, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
About You:
- At least 5 years of experience in an HR function, ideally from the hospitality industry.
- Strong influential skills and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of the Modern Slavery Act.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
