The positions are FIFO from Perth, Darwin, or Broome to site or DIDO from Onslow, Exmouth, Karratha, or Dampier. Paulsens is located in the Ashburton Basin of the Eastern Pilbara region, 211kms inland east of Onslow and 180km west of Paraburdoo. Flights are to Onslow or Paraburdoo, then a two-hour transport to site.
The roster is 15/13, day shift only.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Camp Electrician interested in joining our team.
This position is responsible for ensuring security of assets for site and general camp, site buildings and office facilities maintenance - both reactive and preventative - is undertaken, safely and effectively, to enable utilisation by internal and external parties.
About You
We are looking for people with positive and motivated ’can do’ attitudes, able to work collaboratively, and with a diverse range of people across all levels who understand we are all in this together.
- Current “A” grade Western Australian Electrical License (Unrestricted) or Cert III Refrigeration / Air-Conditioning.
- Experience with maintenance across the domestic and commercial sectors.
- Experience with basic carpentry and/or plumbing techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Earthmoving and excavation skills with ability to operate small machinery i.e. backhoe, mini excavator.
- Ability to work unsupervised, independently and in a remote location.
- First aid certificate including CPR (or ability to gain).
- Western Australian Unencumbered “C” Class Drivers Licence.
