Base pay range

A$75,000.00/yr - A$120,000.00/yr

Hours per Fortnight: 76 or 80 with a monthly Accrued Day Off

Location: Community Health, Shepparton

Salary Range: $76,544 – $122,785 p.a. (dependent on experience and classification)

Relocation & Incentives

Comprehensive relocation support is available to help make your move smooth and stress-free:

  • Intrastate (100km+): up to $2,500
  • Interstate: up to $5,000
  • Overseas: up to $8,000

Accommodation Support:

  • Up to $350/week for up to 10 weeks, or
  • 10 weeks interim accommodation (if available)

Recruitment Bonus: $2,500–$5,000 upon successful completion of six-month probation (new employees only)

About the Roles

We are recruiting for multiple Occupational Therapist positions at Grade 1, 2 or 3, within a multidisciplinary Rural Allied Health Team (RAHT) providing services across the Goulburn Valley region.

Core responsibilities for all grades:

  • Deliver evidence-based, person-centred care in home and clinic settings
  • Work closely with clients, carers, and families to support independence and safety
  • Develop client-centred goals and functional care plans
  • Complete assessments for assistive technology, pressure care, and home modifications
  • Implement in-home and community-based therapy programs
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and student training

Grade 3 additional responsibilities:

  • Lead clinical care for complex and high-needs clients
  • Provide supervision and mentoring to junior staff
  • Support service development, innovation, and implementation
  • Contribute to policy, reporting, and evidence-based practice
  • Lead quality improvement activities and clinical governance projects

About You

We are seeking passionate Occupational Therapists with the following:

Essential (all grades):

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
  • AHPRA registration
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Grade 1/2:

  • Early to mid-career experience in community settings
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Desire to grow within a multidisciplinary environment

Grade 3:

  • Extensive experience in community OT and complex case management
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership and supervision skills
  • Proven ability to contribute to service planning and innovation
  • High-level written, verbal, and analytical skills
