About the role

Are you passionate about the health, food, or hospitality industries? We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated chef or cook to join our food services team at Coleraine District Health Service Hospital on a part-time basis. A full-time position may be considered for the right candidate.

The Coleraine Hospital Chef / Trade Cook is responsible for preparing meals for aged-care residents and acute patients, catering, and preparing healthy, nutritious meals. Responsibilities include cooking, chilling, preparation, storage of food items, cleaning the kitchen, plating, presentation, and general kitchen duties. The successful applicant will work with and report directly to our CDHS Food & Hotel Services Manager.

Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required.
