Join us and be a part of our mission to drive sustainability through technology and talent at Tata Consultancy Services, APAC today.Job Title – SAP BASIS SpecialistLocation- MelbourneThe Technical Specialist (SAP Basis) role within SAP services is responsible for the implementation and support of technical SAP NetWeaver components and databases across the SAP landscapes.BTP Admin (global account and sub-account administration)Cloud ALM administration, configuration, and monitoring of BTP and Legacy services.Cloud Connector / private tunnel configuration and administration.BTP Network security / Authentication (IAS administration and integration of Single Sign-On)Good exposure to Cloud Identity Services, Work zone, Task Centre, Analytics cloud, Cloud Connector, etc.The position entails managing the day-to-day operations, assisting with project activities and working within the SAP Basis Pool. Reporting to the SAP Basis team lead, this role is expected to provide adequate capability to assist in day-to-day operation in SAP NetWeaver Basis Technology.Experience – 10+ yearsMust HaveAt least 5 years working in mid-range SAP technical environmentsGood understanding of the SAP NetWeaver Basis (and related packages) products and services supporting the Australia Post SAP footprint and supported business processes.Proven success in working with and across Business and IT Delivery Teams to deliver effective and cost efficient technology based solutions.Adherence to methodologies for business process optimization and continuous improvement opportunities.A dedicated and grounded focus on customer service, focused on excelling in services delivered to the business.The ability to self-manage and self-motivate.Strong mentorship demonstrated in behavior and all forms of communication.Demonstrated business acumen.Effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to influence and negotiate.Very good presentation skills to effectively deliver ideas and concepts within an organization of complex nature.Sound decision-making ability.Time management and planning.Highly developed problem-solving skills and system analysis skills.Good-to-haveTertiary qualification in information technology or business related discipline.SAP Certification in relevant SAP Basis technologies.Responsibility of / Expectations from the RoleConfiguring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment.Installations, upgrades and maintenance (support packs) of SAP systems.Monitoring and health checks of all SAP systems.Performing system copies of large database systems.Administration of the SAP database.Resolving SAP transport issues and ensuring objects are transported in the correct sequence.Support continuous improvement activities within the SAP Services.Assist the SAP Services Basis Lead to ensure that the Australia Post SAP solution meets agreed service levels – incident, minor works and projects.Ensure that the non-functional and technical requirements for projects, minor works and incident resolution are properly translated.Develop and review estimations for support, minor works and projects related to your area of specialization.Ensure up to date knowledge of SAP and associated vendor products and services to support activities in your area.Be functionally and technically rounded to support activities as a Technical Specialist in the SAP NetWeaver Basis solution set.Responsible for assisting and mentoring junior staff in your team.Thank you for your interest in applying for this position with TCS.
