Commercial Sales Account Executive

Your primary objective will be to seek and identify areas for new and expanded customer growth for innovative Rogers Business Solutions within the Business Services vertical, within the Medium Business Segment in the GTA.  Solutions include sales of smartphones, data centre and private cloud, cyber security, fleet management, professional services, mobile worker data collection, wireline back up and loan worker safety.  You must be a self-starter with strong prospecting, hunting and solution sales skills.

 

This position will be based out of Barrie, North Bay, Sudbury or surrounding areas.

 

 WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: 

 

  • Cold calling prospective Medium Business clients to promote and sell Rogers solutions within a named and new base of accounts.
  • Represent the company with a positive attitude and strong work ethic that will maintain a maximum retention rate and promote growth.
  • Understanding current and prospective customers' business issues, communication needs and buying motives
  • Developing the right solution for clients' evolving business requirements with a Customer First Approach.
  • Build relationships with partners and engage as required to build solutions
  • Leverage internal Solution Design Consultants to develop solutions, remove IT hurdles and develop additional account relationships
  • Build trust, loyalty and solid long-term relationships with key decision-makers
  • Share your ideas by actively participating in regular sales meetings and fulfill required sales administrative duties (CRM) to support your role

 

WHAT YOU HAVE: 

 

  • University degree or equivalent expertise
  • At least 2 years’ experience in B2B Sales
  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • Proven aptitude for implementing sales strategies
  • Ability to motivate a team to meet objective
  • Be results oriented and obtain strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to assess staff, develop skill sets, and possess proven coaching skills.
  • Proven funnel management experience.
  • Experienced presenter
  • Proven effective team building skills
  • Proficiency in the use of PowerPoint & Excel
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is a must
