SAIC has an exciting new opportunity for an exceptional Cyberspace Operations Planner in the National Capital Region with the technical and operational experience needed to make a difference for the warfighter and our Nation.

Job Description:

This work will be as a member of a small team within United States Army Cyber Command. The employee will serve as an action officer, working on various projects related to the training of cyber teams across the military services. The action officer will address issues of cyber training policy, resources, facilities, ranges, and technologies while working with multiple DoD, US Government, and commercial organizations. The successful candidate will provide in-depth knowledge of staff procedures, understand stakeholder equities, and be capable of resolving issues as they arise.

Candidate must have staff experience at the operational and/or strategic level with preference to Joint or Service staff experience. Familiarity with staffing procedures, such as AROC and JROC is desirable. Knowledge and/or experience in cyber operations is desired. Expertise for the development of Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO) and Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) policy, plans, processes, procedures, and governing directives is desired.

Job Duties:

Daily activities include:
• Performs duties as a staff action officer/project manager on cyber training-related issues, requiring coordination with Army Cyber Command staff, Army Staff, Joint Staff, Service Staffs, various Cyber Ranges, DOD, and US Government organizations.
- Provides input to briefings, transitioning concepts to execution and assisting in the coordination of joint operational planning in support of training, combat, and contingency operations.
- Provides input for the development of cyberspace Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), Concepts of Operation (CONOPS), Courses of Action (COAs), and other related documents.
- Provides input to address shortfalls, prioritize, and validate requirements and be prepared to modify development planning efforts based on the changing cyberspace environment.
- Participates and contributes to daily operational planning meetings.

Qualifications:
Required skills and experience:
- Intelligence or Cyber operations (minimum 10 years total) – including operations, plans, training, analysis, collection management, targeting, single or multi-discipline)
- Operational or Strategic staff experience (e.g. Army echelon-above-Corps, Service-level or Joint Staff, OSD, Intelligence Community/Agency level)
- Master’s degree (10 years’ experience accepted in lieu of degree); prefer technical undergraduate degree (e.g. Engineering, IT)
- Minimum 15 years' experience.

Clearance Requirement:

- Must possess a current TS/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance
