Farm/Stable Worker

Farm/Stable Worker Randolph-Macon College seeks applications for a full-time Farm/Stable Worker to work at its newly acquired horse farm, Coventry Farm.  Coventry Farm, located fewer than three miles from our Ashland campus, boasts 70 acres of pasture, has space for 33 horses, and includes an indoor riding arena, two large outdoor areas, and space for cross-country fences.  This is a 12-month position with on-call responsibilities and the possibility of onsite housing.  Duties: Primary responsibilities include daily care of all horses and ponies stabled or kept on premises, owned by the college, boarded or on lease.  Secondary duties include basic farm maintenance and operation of farm equipment as necessary.   The position is classified as essential personnel by the College.
