MANAGER CLINICAL VI

Under direction of the Operations Manager, this position coordinates and assists in the daily management of a large Opioid Treatment Program.  The staff member must assist in ensuring the smooth operation of the programs in accordance with Federal, State and local regulatory standards.Must have experience in training and supervising staff.    Must possess good interpersonal, communication and group facilitation skills.  Must be creative and able to work well in a collaborative team environment.  Must be highly organized and able to work well independently.  Must possess excellent decision making skills, and an ability to manage multiple projects. Must possess the ability to communicate orally and in writing. Knowledge of addiction treatment.  Must possess knowledge and experience with personal computers.  Must have experience with databases, including excel.  Preferred experience working with marginalized populations.

This position demands high levels of organization and attention to detail to work in a fast paced environment with a patient population experiencing significant psychosocial, medical and environmental challenges.  Must possess the ability to multi-task and to organize the work day efficiently in order to ensure that the program operates efficiently. Strong management and supervisory skills, highly developed critical thinking skills, excellent oral and written communication skills,  strong time-management skills, and a high degree of organization and attention to detail.Candidates must be able to develop and maintain complicated tracking systems in in excel to ensure timeliness of documentation.  

Requirements:

Master's Degree (Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field). Three years experience; Must be a Qualified Health Professional (QHP); CASAC a plus; Spanish speaking a plus.

The hours for this position are 6:30a.m.-2:30 p.m. 7.5 hour workday with a 1/2 hours lunch. . This position prefers a minimum of 30 words/minute on the typing test and an acceptable passing score on the Outlook and Word Microsoft test is preferred.
