Position Summary:

Responsible for applying consistent accounting principles and procedures to record and analyze financial information, maintain the integrity of the financial records, provide transparent and accurate financial information to Sr. Management, prepare accurate and timely financial reports, and ensure adherence to appropriate accounting control procedures.

Job Duties:

Accounting functions including correction of coding errors, posting of standard accruals, and month end close responsibilities

Review of petty cash replenishment requests and/or P-card reconciliations

Review gift card requests and ensure gift card logs are submitted timely

Prepare bank account reconciliations

Prepare monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations of asset and liability accounts

Daily positive pay review through CEO (Commercial Electronic Office)

Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed

Assist with audit requests as needed

Leverage technology to improve current processes

Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

BA or BS in Accounting

1-3 years accounting experience, preferably in Real Estate Management

Experience using SAP a plus

Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience in report writing

Ability to effectively communicate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across the organization

Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented; self-motivated; ability to multi-task and prioritize

Good judgment and problem-solving skills
