Position Summary:

  • Manage assigned distributor partner within specified region; maintain a high level of daily interaction
  • Analyze sales reports, develop proactive solutions for distributor to meet DWA’s KPI objectives
  • Educate distributor partner on product, category, IRI data and sales techniques
  • Ensure execution of National and Regional Account activity
  • Meet or exceed DWA’s annual plan for volume, distribution and trade spend
  • Autonomy to create and implement action plans that fall within DWA’s guidelines 


Key Responsibilities:


Distributor Management

  • Work with territory evian distributor partners to maximize execution, distribution, and volume opportunities.
  • Ability to travel weekly between each distribution center across the assigned territory as directed by the Route to Market Manager.
  • Attend weekly meetings with our distributor partners to outline clear KPI’s and upcoming promotional activity by channel/key account.
  • Strengthen relationships and communication with distributor General Sales Managers, District Managers and Area Sales Managers
  • National and Regional Retail Chain accounts - develop customers relationships to manage and execute regional/national contracts and enhance overall brand touch points within
  • Insures that product availability, brands, and shelf positioning are consistent with standards planned for the outlet.
  • Executes sales programs in outlets as directed by the Route to Market Manager, directly in outlets assigned and indirectly in other outlets served solely by Distributor personnel.
  • Sells additional, complementary promotional/display activity to store or section manager.
  • Identifies & communicates opportunities in existing accounts for business expansion to Route to Market Manager.
  • Empower our distribution partners to develop new customers in the assigned sales territory.
  • Notes any account changes in competitive products and communicates to the Route to Market Manager.
  • Responsible for interaction and communication with Distributor's sales and delivery personnel to improve performance.


Internal Engagement and Reporting


  • Manage relationships with Supply Chain and Finance functions, and ensure distributor compliance with agreements on inventory, sales, and payments.
  • Work with Marketing to ensure proper point of sale, pricing and marketing tools are available to distributor
  • Provide weekly updates on volume, distribution and inventory to Route to Market Manager


New Business


  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest in the Evian brand.
  • Assist the RTM Manager on prospective new distributors that may service the region.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years related CPG industry experience required, Beverage & DSD experience preferred
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Category & Brand Knowledge
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Travel required: 50%
  • Strong expertise with MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
