Job Description:

The Software Engineering Manager will oversee a full-stack team of developers and ensure their work is of a high quality. The manager will facilitate communication between other engineering teams, product management, and design to bring our product to life.

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Prioritizing and planning weekly sprints and quarterly goals 
  • Help the team architect solutions that are scalable and secure
  • Help with bug fixes, new feature implementation, adding and maintaining new partner integrations
  • Improving testing infrastructure and internal documentation     
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience required, or Master's degree and three years of experience as alternate. 
  • 5+ years of relevant engineering work experience and 3+ hands-on technical management experience
  • Experience with architectural patterns of large web applications
  • Shipped several large scale projects with multiple dependencies across teams
  • Familiarity with Python and JavaScript
  • Ability to prioritize and be pragmatic
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with recruiting to build great engineering teams 
  • Experience mentoring team members in their careers
