Job Title:              Manager Enrollment

Reports To:          Divisional Operations Director or RCOO

Department:          Operations                           


FLSA Status:        Exempt





Responsible for the overall management of the enrollment function for the division.  This individual will manage the Enrollment Specialists to ensure timely processing of enrollment applications and meeting filing deadlines.  Identify problems and present recommendations for improvements; implement and monitor those recommendations.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities -

  • Drive performance management for the Enrollment Specialist (ES) staff within the division (efficiency, best practices, follow-up calls, ensure that copies are made and kept as required).
  • Review Held Account Receivables with Director, Supervisor, and/or Leads on a weekly basis.
  • Research and submit write-offs on a regular basis.
  • Mentor and assist in training for new Enrollment Specialists.
  • Oversee special enrollment projects.
  • Manage the work flow between the Enrollment Specialists and Enrollment Coordinators.
  • Manage and train temporary employees.
  • Responsible for Quality Assurance of applications prepared for submission.
  • Mentor and assist the Group Enrollment Specialist with start-ups for the division.
  • Manage escalated provider and payor calls.
  • Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, counsel and provide disciplinary actions to assigned personnel, and works to facilitate individual and team development that drives positive results.
  • Review First and Last Shift Report regularly.
  • Review and submit Medicare terminations timely.
  • Manage and monitor group and individual Medicare and Medicaid Revalidations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:



Bachelor’s degree preferred.  May substitute equivalent work experience.



  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in the field.
  • Have 3-5 years management experience.


Other i.e. knowledge and skills:

  • Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Applicant should have knowledge of multi-state government payers.
  • Applicant must exercise sound judgment in planning and accomplishing goals.
  • Will direct the work of others.
  • Well developed leadership skills. 
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
