Job Description

 

The role of Sales Training Developer focuses on delivering continuous and dynamic value to the sales force via a virtual sales training campus and in-person sales workshops.  Responsibilities include contributing expertise and skills to the development and deployment of training content, maintaining and improving virtual site functionality, analyzing user experiences and adapting systems to enhance the user experience, coding widgets and system integrations via API, HTML/CSS, Java Script, etc.  Other responsibilities include managing the daily functions of the site, maintaining and updating the user lists, uploading and updating content, basic user support, basic site troubleshooting, vendor support interactions, and monitoring support inbox.  Other administrative functions related to data clean-up and bulk data import/export also included in responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Website functionality administration, maintenance, improvements, web development and widget coding
  • Site administration including managing user accounts, moderating user content, deployment of modifications and updates to site, and troubleshooting user support issues;  focused on enhanced user experience (UX) and engagement outcomes.
  • Internal and external stakeholder management as well as regular vendor support.
  • User List management including filtering, scrubbing, uploading and maintaining user database and mailing lists
  • Support of innovative commercial excellence initiatives including development of content and deployment.

 

Qualifications

  • Associate/Technical Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Extreme attention to detail & upstream/downstream workflow, creativity, self-learner, problem solver, and communication
  • Demonstrable business writing skills
  • Coding: HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, JSON, API – Intermediate to advanced
  • Intermediate to advanced in Adobe suite of software including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro and Audition or similar.  Adobe InDesign or similar preferred but not required.
  • Intermediate to expert in Microsoft suite of software including Word, Excel and Power Point.  Expert level Excel preferred with understanding of importing and exporting CSV tables, pivot tables and graphs.
  • Functional understanding of typography.
  • Exceptional process workflow practices related to Adobe software (or similar) related to organized and labeled layers, organized and packaged projects for storage and recall, organized and logical storage of files and projects on shared drives.
  • Experienced web-based content creation.
  • Experienced in training development, deployment or instructional design.
  • Understanding of Microsoft, Android and iOS based operating systems and applications.
  • Demonstrable business writing capabilities including vocabulary, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
