Posting is being utilized to build an external talent pipeline for our Marketing function.

We are seeking talent for Global Marketing Leaders to lead the channel and product marketing within Ecolab. This position will drive vision, strategy, business requirements, provide P&L leadership, and develop and manage talent in one of our business units in North America.

The successful candidate (s) will have a global mindset and broad marketing experience, including product, segment, channel, and communications with strong strategic capabilities, strong business, financial, and operational acumen and the ability to execute to achieve business outcomes. In addition, this individual will be a recognized talent leader and a highly inclusive professional with the ability to collaborate, partner and influence key stakeholders, including Executive Leaders to achieve goals.

What You Will Do:
  • Create and execute a short term and long-term roadmap of business strategies which will drive growth, market share and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the current business environment; evaluating results, understanding of market trends and customer insights, translating them into opportunities to improve, grow market share, revenue, and business profitability.
  • Collaborate with and support the Commercial Teams to accelerate growth by providing marketing support including sales tools, training, and marketing communications.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team to deliver results across the business. Build and maintain a culture of strong engagement, collaboration, inclusion, accountability, and high performance. Build a strong bench of high potential marketing professionals with succession plans for key roles.
  • Review and assess performance of marketing strategies and programs in business, partnering with Global COE, other Divisional marketing leaders and cross functional stakeholders (i.e. Commercial, RD & E, Finance, etc.) to build functional excellence and develop the Functional Marketing Plan to achieve enterprise goals.
  • Lead and focus on change management, process improvement and special projects.


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years of broad marketing experience, to include strategic product marketing, segment, communications and channel capabilities.
  • Three years of Team Leadership; demonstrated experience in building effective, collaborative, and high performing teams in inclusive and engaged Team environment.


Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Advanced degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to tell compelling stories focused on the customer
  • Strategic and visionary leader with experience creating multi-year marketing plans
  • Strong drive for results with ability to create and execute on plans effectively
  • Proven expertise in building relationships and working with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including Executives.
  • Successful experience developing new initiatives, digital programs, pricing strategies and competitive analysis.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with P & L management
  • Ability to navigate complex global matrix organization (s) to achieve business results.
  • Proven experience of supporting and working with Sales organization and key customers. Strong customer orientation.
