What you’ll do

  • Identifies and develops retail accounts and relationship programs designed to produce opportunities to grow the network for Play! Pokémon programs.
  • Recruits, develops and manages Play! Pokémon Store partnerships and opportunity pipelines and ensures the retention, growth and customer satisfaction of retailers in United States and Canada.
  • Evaluates program trends and provides analysis and recommendations for improvement of market performance.
  • Works toward mutual goals, strategies, and objectives to build awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of the Play! Pokémon Store network.
  • Provides for KPI analyses, long-range forecasting and analysis to suggest potential partnerships.
  • Monitors and evaluates programs to assess the impact of the solutions in the marketplace and the overall success of the Play! Pokémon programs.
  • Monitors competitor activity in retail and implements strategies to maintain retention and become best-in-class retail network for Organized Play programs.
  • Attend key international events to synch with resellers & Retailers, Pokémon Professors and international vendors, among others.
  • Manage vendor contracts, ensuring alignment with program and organization goals.
  • Work effectively cross-functionally to ensure alignment with stakeholders to promote and grow markets
  • Provide excellent customer support to our retail hobby store customers, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Manage and advise on growth in the Domestic market through player engagement and retailer onboarding.
  • Collaborate on programming across other markets, working across teams to ensure timely deadlines.
  • Contribute to development and share best practices for programmatic success with retailers.               

What you’ll bring

  • Four (4) to six (6) years of related professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.
  • Experience in delivering results in diverse markets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Base salary range: For this role, new hires generally start between $102,000 - $120,650. The full range is $102,000 -$152,000. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
