JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a strategic thinker who is passionate about delivering exceptional support of Daily Net Asset Values to multiple functions, then this is the role for you. 

As a Fund Accounting Analyst, Associate or VP within our Fund Accounting Operations team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high quality Net Asset Values (NAV). Your attention to detail, ability to prioritize and execute time-sensitive tasks, and passion for delivering solutions across organizational boundaries will be highly valued. This role offers the opportunity to work within a hybrid environment, providing a unique blend of challenges and opportunities.  Fund Accounting Operations offers the opportunity to work within a hybrid environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Producing accurate and timely Net Asset Values
  • Performing quality assurance checks on information received internally from other supporting functions
  • Creating, maintaining and updating procedures for the funds
  • Ensuring compliance with all controls and procedures outlined in the procedures manual and general company policies
  • Ensuring all schedule work is completed by agreed deadlines, checklists are signed and files contain all required supporting documents
  • Identifying efficiencies and areas for improvement to reduce risk and become more efficient
  • Developing a thorough knowledge of your client base, prospectus, documentation, etc.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 2+ years of experience in Fund Administration Operations
  • Thorough understanding of the theoretical and technical nature of mutual fund accounting and administration
  • Strong technical skills including accounting fundamentals and theories
  • Ability to be effective in a global operating environment and a matrix management organizations
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and with external clients
  • Analytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; executive presentation skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver results
  • Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Relationship building skills - develop internal and external partnerships to move results forward
  • Expert use of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and ability to present to senior management.
