Program Manager (Compliance)

Job Description:

Location: This position must be located within 50 miles of our Indianapolis, IN PulsePoint location at 220 Virginia Ave.

Responsible for the development and ongoing management of one or more multi-year external client facing programs within a business unit. Program managers typically support business strategies through an integrated portfolio of external client facing projects or initiatives. A program manager may have responsibility for a piece of a larger enterprise/regional external client facing program.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Develops/designs a compliance framework for the VM team to ensure vendors are adhering to state and local contract requirements.
  • Manages escalations of vendor related issues from team members prior to further escalation to Manager of VM
  • Responsible for overseeing the implementation of the diverse vendor strategy created by the Manager of VM
  • Responsible for auditing VM team processes and procedures to ensure ongoing adherence to prevent gaps (ex: the team is making ongoing updates to our source of truth document, tracking vendor invoicing on a monthly basis, meeting with vendors for JOCs on a regular basis, collecting reports from vendors on a scheduled basis, contracts are being stored appropriately, vendor contact lists are being updated appropriately, state required reports are being completed timely and accurately, etc)
  • Responsible for meeting with Finance (local and corporate) on a monthly basis to review diversity spend report in comparison to VM source of truth reporting. Identify any gaps and report to Manager of VM to determine any strategies for gap closure.
  • Reviews and approves vendor communications.
  • Approves state contract filings for the IN Medicaid market (emails from compliance via the GSMO process)
  • Reviews all SOW drafts prior to state filing or Ariba entry
  • Partner with the Onboarding and Training team to ensure all contractors are in compliance with health plan training requirements required by state contracts


Minimum Requirements:
  • Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years external client facing experience in program/project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.


Preferred skills, qualifications and experiences:
  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • Project management certification preferred.
