About: Pure Insulation has over 40 years of expertise in energy inspections, air sealing, insulation, and other related services with the aim of improving the comfort and energy efficiency of homes and businesses.
Summary: The Laborer duties vary on the setting in which they work and their level of specialization. They usually work in residential settings, and construction sites where they will: preform physical tasks, assist in the repair of home insulation systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installs and replaces insulation in homes and commercial buildings.
- Reads building plans and blueprints to calculate the quantity and type of insulation materials needed to fulfill job requirements.
- Clears and disposes of old insulation according to established safety guidelines.
- Loads and unloads insulation materials.
- Installs or sprays insulation in attics.
- Measures and cuts insulation to fit into walls, ceilings, and around pipes.
- Fastens insulation in place with tape, screws, staples, or fasteners as needed.
- Transports needed tools and equipment to jobsite.
- Follows company and industry safety guidelines and regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Certification/Licensure: Driver's License required. Class E prior to start date
Language Skills: Able to communicate with Production Manager
- Knowledge of insulation materials and ability to determine best material for a project.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools to install insulation.
- Ability to read blueprints and calculate insulation needed.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Pay: $17 hr +
