Delaware North Parks and Resorts is looking for a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our team at Grand Canyon National Park in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property.

Responsibilities
Complete multiple general maintenance requests timely ensuring cost effectiveness with ability to work independently and report maintenance problems.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Perform second level maintenance and repairs, maintain water softeners and salt inventory per preventive maintenance program.
Ability to perform second level trade functions such as electrical motor trouble shooting to 220 volts, plumbing, refrigeration/HVAC, basic boiler operation and kitchen equipment repair; basic carpentry, painting, plowing, and operate heavy equipment.
Adhere to all safety, risk management and environmental policies and procedures including use of personal protective equipment.
Assist in the training and development of lower general maintenance grades.
Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' previous experience in general maintenance/repair required.
- Previous experience with fire and boiler heat systems a plus.
- Requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with ability to safely operate a company vehicle while observing all rules, regulations and company policy.
- Possess physical ability to complete assigned tasks, including entering confined space, ascending/descending ladder.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate equipment and tools.
- Wear all personal protective safety equipment as designated.
- Exposure to chemicals while performing maintenance duties, painting and repairs.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying climate conditions including sun, heat, rain, wind and snow.
